I appreciated the close proximity to the hayward japanese gardens, just a short walk away, and the easy access to don castro regional recreation area, which offered a peaceful outdoor escape during my stay. the room was tidy enough and had basic amenities for a comfortable weekend getaway, but the breakfast options were limited.

This hotel was just a proper fit for short visits in Hayward with excellent value for money. I had a very frustrating check-in experience as I waited over 15 minutes for someone to arrive at the front desk. For those planning a stay, don't expect an easy check-in. maybe call ahead.
