I loved how clean and nicely updated the rooms were. The beds were comfortable, and the friendly staff made my stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast area was inviting and provided a decent selection to start my mornings right.
A better variety of breakfast options would be nice.

great access to parks and local attractions for weekend explorations
I appreciated the close proximity to the hayward japanese gardens, just a short walk away, and the easy access to don castro regional recreation area, which offered a peaceful outdoor escape during my stay. the room was tidy enough and had basic amenities for a comfortable weekend getaway, but the breakfast options were limited.

This hotel was just a proper fit for short visits in Hayward with excellent value for money. I had a very frustrating check-in experience as I waited over 15 minutes for someone to arrive at the front desk. For those planning a stay, don't expect an easy check-in. maybe call ahead.

Had a fun time with friends! We enjoyed our stay and hit up Golden Tee Golfland and Monarch Bay Golf Club, both a blast. Just a heads up, the breakfast options could be better, and it might get a bit noisy in the mornings. Still, we had a great time overall!
One thing to note was the cleanliness. the floors in the room could have used a better clean. It’s a bit off-putting and made us question the overall hygiene.

Single Traveler’s Nightmare Encapsulated
I had a great interaction with the clerk when I checked in, but unfortunately that was the only time things went right. The fridge and microwave in my room were functional, which was a slight win amidst the chaos, but when you can’t even sleep in peace, what's the point?
It was far from affordable, but I didn’t expect to suffer like this.

Unfortunately, this joint has seen better days. The cleanliness in the room left quite a bit to be desired, with dusty corners and unkempt surfaces that made me feel like I'd walked into the wrong cantina. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, while I found the amenities, like the TV, quite underwhelming—barely functional channels that remind you of old holo-recordings. There seemed to be a lack of attention to basic maintenance, like keeping the filters clean, which is just basic droid upkeep. Also, noise levels from outside and nearby rooms could be distracting, making it hard to catch some shut-eye. It’s the type of place where you might want to keep your guard up.

I booked this place for a quick family trip to visit Don Castro Regional Recreation Area. The location was convenient, making it easy to get to the park, which the kids loved. The room was pleasantly updated with comfy beds, but we noticed that the floors could benefit from a deeper clean. Overall, we managed to enjoy our stay despite some cleanliness issues.
